While monetary donations to support our mission will always make a big impact, there are so many other IMPORTANT ways to help out.

FUNDRAISE

Facebook Fundraisers, marathons, lemonade stands, bake sales, school pajama days, dress down days at work, races, tournaments, dance-a-thons…the ideas and opportunities are endless. Get creative and have FUN raising funds! We’d love to hear how you would like to collaborate with Tommy Strong!

COLLECT

Kids helping kids. It doesn’t get much sweeter than this. Kids LOVE collecting and shopping for toys, books, crafts and blankets for other kids. And they learn so much about giving back and lending a helping hand. Just remember any items collected must be brand new. We like to share smiles - not germs!

VOLUNTEER

We are always looking for volunteers to help out at our events, deliver care packages, plan fundraisers, help with administrative tasks, etc. If you’re interested in lending a hand, please reach out and let us know how you can help. Contact us here.

ATTEND

Attend one of our Tommy Strong fundraising events. Bring a friend or two or more! Check out our Events Calendar for a list of upcoming events.

ADVOCATE

Advocacy can be as easy as writing to your state and federal legislators to urge action on state bills or Congressional Acts. Children’s Cancer Cause website has a great advocacy resource center to help you learn why, who and how to contact your state and federal legislators. And don’t be afraid to share the facts and statistics that you learn about childhood cancer with others. Without awareness and advocacy there is no funding for research and no hope for a cure!

GIVE

…blood, bone marrow/blood stem cells. Many children undergoing cancer treatment require blood transfusions (sometimes multiple). Donating blood can help. Find a local blood drive at American Red Cross or Vitalant. A bone marrow/blood stem cell transplant can help treat many blood cancers.
